[IN]SIDE is a content initiative by Matter in collaboration with H & R Johnson (India) published as a series of bi-annual journals and an online platform on Contemporary Architecture and Design in India. The books chronicle and document ideas and work of some of the most innovative designers from India. The 200-page journal contains more than 350 full-colour images, drawings, essays, dialogues and editorial on projects of many scales and typologies.

MATTER is an architecture, design and publishing studio, invested in chronicling contemporary architecture in India. Established as a multi-disciplinary practice, Matter contributes to design discourse in India through content initiatives that range from books, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, lectures, discussions, workshops, films and related rich-content initiatives that include the [IN]SIDE bi-annual journal and The Merit List [TML] amongst other.
